Linked identities
Connect sign-in identities while keeping a reliable way back into your account.
Review your connections
Your account settings can show identities linked through configured providers. Verify which provider and external account are connected before making changes. An instance provider configuration defines a sign-in service; your linked identity associates your account with a particular identity in that service.
Avoid locking yourself out
Before unlinking, confirm another working sign-in method is available under the instance's current policy. Keep your active session until that method has been tested. If deployment-managed SSO settings are wrong, an administrator must fix the authorized configuration; repeatedly relinking the same identity will not repair a bad callback URL.
Link a provider to the current account
Open Settings → My Account and find the linked identities section. For a configured, unlinked provider choose Link. Complete authentication with the intended external account and return through /auth/callback to the same Memos account. Check the provider and displayed external identifier after returning; a successful provider login into the wrong external account is not the intended link. If no provider is available, an administrator must configure one first.
Unlink only after a separate sign-in test
Before choosing Unlink on a linked row, sign in successfully using the alternative method in a different browser session. Keep the original session open, unlink the intended provider, then reload My Account to confirm its state changed. If the unlink is denied or alternate sign-in fails, stop and ask the instance administrator to inspect the current authentication policy. Repeatedly starting the provider flow does not repair a misregistered callback.
