Review notifications without confusing a notification with content permission.

Read incoming activity

The Inbox collects notification items available to your account. Open an item to inspect the associated activity and mark it read when you have dealt with it. A notification can outlive the state that created it, so its target may have moved, been archived or become inaccessible.

Delivery channels

In-app inbox items and outgoing email are separate surfaces. Administrators configure notification delivery; a working inbox does not prove SMTP works. If email is expected but missing, review instance notification settings and provider logs without exposing credentials. Space invitations have their own accept/decline flow.
