Connect small ideas
Build a network of useful notes through deliberate references.
Keep one idea readable
Write a short note in your own words and include the source when an idea comes from elsewhere. Make enough context visible that the note still makes sense later. Tags can supply broad subjects; links or memo references connect a specific idea to another.
Explain the connection
Do more than paste a link: write a sentence about why the two notes belong together. Revisit a few related notes while writing something new. A relation does not change visibility or ownership, and this workflow does not imply a dedicated graph view or automatic knowledge synthesis.
Make and test one meaningful connection
Create memo A with one observation and its source. Open A and copy its actual memo URL. Create memo B with a related conclusion and add a sentence explaining the relationship, using a normal Markdown link to that copied URL. Replace the placeholder below; do not guess a memo ID. Save B, follow the link and confirm it opens A. If B will be shared, repeat the link check as the intended reader because B does not grant access to A.
Small experiments make vague plans easier to evaluate.
This extends [the original observation](PASTE_ACTUAL_MEMO_URL):
the useful unit is one observable result, not a broad intention.
