Export and import
Move a personal memo archive with a review step and an explicit conflict policy.
Export your notes
Use the memo export section in Settings to download a ZIP archive. Keep the resulting file private and check that it contains the expected records. This is a user-level transfer format. It does not replace an operator backup of all accounts, settings, database state and attachment storage.
Review before importing
Choose a supported ZIP archive. The client uploads/stages it and shows the server's plan before the final import. Review memo and attachment counts, existing records and warnings. When conflicts exist, choose skip, replace or duplicate deliberately. Replace can overwrite an existing record; duplicate creates another record.
Read the report
The result reports created/updated items and issues. A staged upload can expire; if it is no longer available, select the archive again and review the new plan. Do not assume that clicking import means every item succeeded. For a valuable dataset, first try a small archive in an isolated instance.
Run a small export/import rehearsal
Open Settings → Export & Import in your own account. Export a small test account containing two memos and one attachment, then keep the ZIP private. In an isolated destination account, choose the ZIP using the import action. The review should show the expected memo/attachment counts before you confirm. The default conflict policy is Skip; Replace overwrites an existing memo and Duplicate creates a separate record. After import, read the created, updated, skipped and failed counts, then open the two notes and download the attachment. A success toast alone does not mean failed=0.
