KEEP THE THOUGHT. KEEP THE CONTEXT.

Just enough for a thoughtful day.

Start with a fragment. Connect the pieces when you need them.

A thought arrives. Write it down.

Markdown, checklists, and code snippets. Keep words, links, images, and attachments together in one note.

Find your way back to an idea.

Browse your timeline, search for a phrase, or follow a tag to related notes. Pin the things you want close at hand.

Your notes. Under your control.

Self-host on your own server and choose each note's visibility. Decide where your records live and who can read them.

Self-host on your server.

Fit into the way you already work.

Use the API and MCP to connect other tools. Bring capture and retrieval into your own workflow without another complicated workspace.

NO SYSTEM TO SET UP FIRST

Start with this moment.

01

Write a little.

An idea, a link, a passage. Capture it now. It doesn't have to be finished.

02

Leave a small clue.

Add a tag, attach an image, or pin a note. Organize at your own pace.

03

Come back to it.

Use the timeline, calendar, and search to rediscover thoughts worth continuing.

BEFORE YOU BEGIN

A few small questions.

A simple tool, with clear boundaries.

Can I create an account?

This workspace is a private installation. Public registration is currently closed. If you already have an account, sign in to continue. The product screenshots use specially written sample notes.

What should I put in memos?

Ideas, reading notes, daily reflections, links, and work snippets. Memos is built for light, ongoing capture, with Markdown and file attachments when you need them.

Can I host it myself?

Yes. Memos is based on the open-source Memos project and supports self-hosting. This customized version's repository is currently private. The public upstream project and documentation are linked below.

Will my notes be public?

The current installation requires sign-in. Notes have their own visibility settings, so check those before sharing. Your actual notes never appear on this website.

Your next thought is worth keeping.

It doesn't have to be organized. Just write it down.
