This is an optional workflow, not a special application mode. Write one short memo for a day's observations and tasks. Use Markdown checkboxes for actions and a stable tag such as #daily. Capture unfinished thoughts in separate memos when they need room to develop.

Review without rewriting everything

Use the calendar to revisit the day, then choose which unfinished item still matters. Carry it into a new memo or link to the original. Archive notes only when you intend to change their active state and access behavior. A daily log works best when it stays small enough to keep writing.
